O.J.Simpson Paradox

A term arising from a claim made by the defence lawyer in the murder trial of O. J. Simpson. The lawyer stated that the statistics demonstrate that only one tenth of one percent of men who abuse their wives go on to murder them, with the implication that one or two instances of alleged abuse provides very little evidence that the wife’s murder was committed by the abusive husband.
