Multiple Imputation

A Monte Carlo method in which missing values in a data set are replaced by m > 1 simulated versions, where m is typically small (say 3 10). Each of the simulated complete datasets is analyzed by the method appropriate to the investigation at hand, and the results are later combined to produce estimates, confidence intervals etc.
